Troubling relationships, difficult pregnancies, relationship endings, losses, adoption, divorce, career changes, sexual and physical abuses, exposure to violence, medical conditions, or any unforeseen distressing life events can darken the road leaving us suffering, lost, overwhelmed, lonely, discouraged, low in self-esteem, depressed, angry, scared, anxious, sleepless, and/or in physical pain and discomfort.
